The college's first annual Johnnie Week culminates with Giving Day on Tuesday, April 25鈥攁n inaugural philanthropy drive geared toward supporting student activities, seminars, campus improvement projects, scholarships, and more.
In 2018, Annapolis Johnnies celebrating their 40th reunion came up with a fundraising initiative to support future students while commemorating their own connection to the college. Now, five years later, the Annapolis Class of 78 Endowed Scholarship has met its goal.
Portia Abbott (SF21) received a $5,000 Global Pathways Fellowship to help cover expenses. Abbott spent six weeks painting with oils, discussing art, and exploring the French city of Aix-en-Provence as a participant in the Leo Marchutz School of Painting & Drawing, one of the study-abroad options available through St. John鈥檚 College.
New solar installation unveiled on Earth Day, April 22, 2023. The installation will generate 100% of the campus鈥檚 electricity and includes 1,670 solar panels and 20 electric vehicle charging stations for use by the St. John鈥檚 community.
